Empowering Flour Millers: Insights from Project Experts

On February 21, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic organized a working meeting of the “Value Chain Agro Finance” Project’s experts with the dedicated team and members of the Association of Flour Milling Enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During this meeting, the project experts Almaz Davletov and Victor Chiriac shared valuable insights into the importance and peculiarities of standards and product certification schemes.

The participants of the meeting received answers concerning the certification schemes for quality management and food safety, types of standards and certification schemes, and most importantly— who can help producers and how in implementing standards and certification schemes. In addition it was clarified how to get technical assistance from the “Value Chain Agro Finance” Project in the implementation of standards and certification schemes for quality management and food safety.
